Rational Guidance
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, and Most Merciful
The way to know God:
(َAllah: The Almighty, The Creator of Heavens and Earth, The Lord of The worlds)
___________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Allah is the Lord of this existence, the creator of heavens and earth, who created man to be his vicegerent (servant) on earth. Everything is made by his will, and moves according to His authority. But it's hard to believe this fact by some people, notably when the mind loses its ability to reason (to believe). However, it's easy to understand this when the mind frees itself from the whims of the heart and material thinking.
Allah Has said what means:
"Behold! In the creation of the heavens and the earth; in the alternation of the Night and the Day; in the sailing of the ships through the Ocean for the profit of mankind; in the rain which Allah sends down from the skies, and the life which He gives therewith to an earth that is dead; in the beasts of all kinds that He scatters through the earth; in the change of the winds and the clouds which they trail like their slaves between the sky and the earth, (here) indeed are Signs for a people that are wise." (Meanings of Holy Quran: Holy Quran: Al-Baqarah: 164(
For this reason, The Holy Quran has come to show this reality by guiding man to discover by himself the tangible proofs, showing to the existence of God (Allah). Thus, Allah in The Holy Quran urges people to use the mind to contemplate on themselves and the creation of heavens and earth, so as to force them to believe.
Therefore, Allah Has promised in The Holly Quran to reveal to men his signs, which are manifested in the creation of people and heavens and earth, He said what means:
"Soon will We show them Our Signs in the (furthest) regions (of the earth), and in their own souls, until it becomes manifest to them that this is the Truth. Is it not enough that thy Lord doth witness all things?" (Meanings of Holy Quran: Fussilat: 47(
Also, Allah turns sights to look around at the universe to feel the power of His creation, because He is the most creative and ingenious creator. Allah Has said what means:
"Say: "Travel through the earth and see how Allah did originate creation; so will Allah produce a later creation: for Allah has power over all things." (Meanings of Holy Quran: Al-'Ankabut: 20(
And He said:
"Say: "Behold all that is in the heavens and on earth"; but neither Signs nor Warners profit those who believe not." (Meanings of Holy Quran: Yunus: 98)
And He said:
"On the earth are Signs for those of assured Faith, As also in your own selves: will ye not then see?" (Meanings of Holy Quran: Az-Zariyat: 20-21)
This rational and logical guidance is the irrefutable proof that should prove the existence of Allah (God), according to the tangible evidence. So, thinking in various creations and relating the causes to their effects, in this universe, is the direct and safe way to know The Creator: Allah. So man is required to use his senses for this cause, if he seeks really the true knowledge about his existence, and about the giver of life!
Whoever uses his senses for the last cause is he who deserves to be clever, smart and real savant. Because his contemplation goes beyond the physical world, neither stops by the phenomena nor by a (look) of things.
Allah said what means:
"And so amongst men and crawling creatures and cattle, are they of various colors. Those truly fear Allah, among His Servants, who have knowledge: for Allah is exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving" (Meanings of Holy Quran: Fatir: 28)
And said:
"Behold! in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of night and day,- there are indeed Signs for men of understanding,-Men who celebrate the praises of Allah, standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and contemplate the (wonders of) creation in the heavens and the earth, (With the thought): "Our Lord! Not for naught Hast Thou created (all) this! Glory to Thee! Give us salvation from the penalty of the Fire. …" (Meanings of Holy Quran: Al-Imran: 190-191…)
